Hearts
Each board gives you three hearts. A wrong order costs one. When they run out, you can give up the level.
Tapolo has one rule. Learn it in three steps, then every board is a new question about order.
Each light has an arrow. When you tap it, its tube switches on and runs in the direction of the arrow.
A tube runs in a straight line until it reaches the edge of the board, a lit tube or another light. It never crosses them.
The board is solved when every tile is lit. If you tap in the wrong order, the board can no longer be filled, and that costs a heart.
Each board gives you three hearts. A wrong order costs one. When they run out, you can give up the level.
Giving up a level, or leaving it after a mistake, costs one of your five lives. Lives come back over time, so when none are left, a new one arrives after a short wait.
A clean solve earns three stars, one slip earns two, and anything more earns one. A mistake or a hint counts as a slip. You can replay a solved level to improve your score.
Stuck? A hint points to a light you can tap next without making the board unsolvable. Each hint uses one from your hint count.
In Rugs the tubes are rugs that unroll, in Mowers they are lanes of cut grass, in Frosting they are lines of frosting and in Trains they are railway track. The rule never changes.
